Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth in key markets and industry verticals.
Identify emerging market trends and recommend strategic moves to capitalize on new opportunities.
Build a robust pipeline of potential clients and partners, leveraging market research, networking, and industry events.
Actively pursue new business opportunities by reaching out to target clients, understanding their needs, and proposing tailored solutions.
Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers at existing and potential clients.
Manage complex contract negotiations and close deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability goals.
Establish and maintain partnerships with complementary companies, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance service offerings and expand market reach.
Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings to build a positive brand presence.
Collaborate with the sales, recruiting, operations and marketing teams to align business development efforts with overall company strategy.
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions for clients, ensuring smooth implementation and post-sale satisfaction.
Mentor junior business development staff and contribute to their professional growth.
Achieve revenue targets by closing new business deals and expanding relationships with current clients.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales metrics, revenue, and pipeline health.
Prepare financial models and forecasts to assess the viability of new business initiatives.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in a B2B environment
Proven track record of successfully closing complex deals and exceeding sales targets
Strong understanding of market research, sales strategy development, and contract negotiation
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, SmartSearch or Bullhorn) and project management software
Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events
Preferred
MBA preferred
Strongly prefer a staffing background with experience selling high volume opportunities, MSP's, RPO, SOW, 1099, Etc.
