Responsibilities
Primarily responsible for data entry of Laboratory Requisitions, insurance verification, and medical record reconciliation.
Provide quality service and customer satisfaction through effective communication and education.
Responsible for all areas of customer service as it pertains to research and resolution of lab orders.
High volume of data entry within computerized EPIC EMR system.
Accountable for accurately and completely obtaining required information in the verification process, ensuring the correct patient and procedure requested, and diagnosis codes.
Responsible for order entry process, communications, guest relations, medical record maintenance/analysis, and various clerical duties within scope of role.

Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
One year of healthcare experience
Data entry skills
Must be available for hire within two weeks
A total of one year of experience across one or more of the following areas: healthcare setting billing or resolving insurance accounts receivable, adjudicating insurance claims, pre-registering or registering patients for healthcare services, handling inbound calls in a customer service call center, or providing customer service to the general public in a non-healthcare setting
Preferred
Experience with medical insurance in a hospital or physician's office setting, specifically Laboratory registration and insurance verification
