Responsibilities

Business Development: Identify and engage with prospective customers in the retail furniture industry. Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities through research, outreach, and networking.
Consultative Selling: Lead discovery calls and consultative meetings with prospects to understand their specific business challenges. Position our client as the ideal solution to address those challenges.
Sales Process Management: Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing. This includes product demonstrations, proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at furniture retail companies. Ensure a strong, ongoing relationship post-sale to drive customer satisfaction and potential upsell opportunities.
CRM Rigor: Utilize the company’s CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) to track all interactions, sales activities, and pipeline development. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and support teams to ensure the smooth onboarding of new clients and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technology advancements, and competitor offerings to effectively position our client as a market leader.

Required

2-5 years of proven sales success, ideally within the technology or SaaS industry.
Ideally some experience working in or selling to the retail furniture industry.
Demonstrated success in selling software solutions, with a focus on business applications such as ERP, CRM, or inventory management systems.
Strong experience working directly with clients to deliver solutions and build long-term relationships.
A consultative sales approach, with the ability to understand the customer’s business and offer tailored solutions to meet their needs.
