Responsibilities

Identify and optimize suitable MAPPs technologies that can be onboarded and developed internally.
Collaborate with the preclinical safety team to fully understand the assay needs and limitations of their sample matrix.
Plan and execute pilot and actual MAPPs studies to generate a list of MHC-II-associated peptides that may activate T cells in a tested donor, and report results to the preclinical safety team.

Required

Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a PhD in Immunology, Oncology, Biochemistry, or other related field.
Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the internship.
Proficiency in MS proteomics workflow: sample preparation, design, and execution.
Broad knowledge of mass spectrometry instrumentation, including but not limited to operation and maintaining orbitraps and/or time-of-flight mass spectrometers.

Preferred

Expected graduation date between December 2025 July 2026.
Exposure to the immunopeptidomics field, preferably in the context of immunogenicity.
Extensive experience in designing and executing sensitive MAPPs or other global MS proteomics sample preparation protocols.
Familiarity with cross-team collaborations and ability to clearly communicate advantages and challenges associated with sensitive sample preparation protocols.
Excellent communication and presentation skills and a strong team spirit.
