Responsibilities
Industry research
Financial modeling including operating, leveraged buyout, and merger models
Data analysis
Preparation of materials for / participation in Roark’s Investment Committee
Monitoring the performance of existing portfolio companies
Interacting with portfolio company management teams
Evaluating potential add-on acquisitions
Assisting senior Roark investment professionals in developing investment strategies for new investment verticals that are consistent with Roark’s investment criteria.

Required
Outstanding academic credentials (min 3.5 GPA), preferably in a major evidencing strong quantitative ability
Coursework or extracurriculars that instill strong foundations in business, finance, accounting, or economics
Exceptional work ethic and a positive, 'can do' attitude
Deep analytical capabilities and detail orientation
Excellent research, communication, and organizational skills
Willingness to collaborate and openness to feedback
Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn
Ability to quickly shift priorities while maintaining focus
A strong sense of urgency
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
