Responsibilities
Formulate 406 Mitigation sub applications/Proposals under the National PA delivery model to mitigate impacts or the severity of impacts from future disasters on critical infrastructure
Review 406 Mitigation sub applications/proposals
Develop Benefit Cost Analysis (BCA)
Develop Cost Estimates
Provide recommendations and guidance regarding 406 Mitigation

Required
5+ Years experience with undergraduate degree for Mid-Level, or 10+ years experience and professional registration for Senior-Level
Should have experience writing mitigation proposals and at least 1 deployment with FEMA
Must have passed, or be able to pass, a FEMA background investigation
Must have passed or be able to pass the Serco Grants Manager and PDMG training classes
Must have an expert knowledge of the FEMA 406 Mitigation Program
Must have an expert knowledge of the FEMA’s National PA Model
Ability to write comprehensive 406 Mitigation project sub applications/proposals
Understanding of and experience using the FEMA Benefit-Cost Analysis (BCA) tool
Ability to screen / triage sub applications for eligibility, feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and EHP compliance
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Notes)
Proficiency with Grants Manager
Must be reliable and able to work with minimal oversight
