Responsibilities
Travel to customer sites for initial commissioning/debugging, repair, and maintenance
Determine and report defective materials or questionable conditions for further service
Perform advanced diagnosis, testing, and repairs
Stay updated on machine designs and latest training with support in assembly
Build spare parts and retrofit assemblies according to prints
Display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and initiative towards excelling
Clean and organize the work area daily
Maintain a professional appearance and attend company meetings

Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent
5-7 years of applicable Field Service experience
3-4 years of experience traveling as a Field Technician
Ability to travel approximately 75% or greater
Ability to be on-call and provide weekend support
Experience with Machine Based Inspection and Defect Detection Systems
Use of hand tools and power tools at a skillful level
Reading and understanding prints for the assembly of mechanical hardware
Reading and understanding basic electrical prints for wiring on assemblies
Intermediate mechanical knowledge
Basic technical mathematical knowledge
Basic to intermediate electrical knowledge
Ability to work together as a team to reach the common goal
Understanding both verbal and written instructions and following them with precision
Exhibiting clear communication (verbal and written)
Basic computer literacy with programs such as MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Outlook, and/or business software
Preferred
Two-year degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, Machine Assembly Technology, etc.
5-7 years of experience in manufacturing and automation equipment
