Cattle Buyer Field Marketing Representative

Responsibilities

Identify large commercial feeder cattle buyers within the feedlot sector
Build relationships & educate these buyers on their ability to procure feeder cattle through our products
Handle in-bound and outbound customer calls, and email communications with customers
Sell opportunities for feedlots to market cattle on LivestockMarket.com and AuctionTime.com
Travel across North America to feedlots to educate customers in person
Gather information on shows and meetings in the industry
Research the livestock industry and the proper way to list the information on our site
Provide feedback from the industry
Work as a team to help assure the success of the websites and publications
Assume other duties as assigned

Qualification

Cattle industry knowledgeBusiness AdministrationAnalytical skillsComputer proficiencyNegotiation skillsCommunication skills

Required

Knowledge of the cattle and feedlot industry required
Ability to travel both air and surface -- valid driver's license required
Stable and progressive work history
Experience with basic computer word processing & spreadsheet programs
Excellent oral and written communication skills and negotiation skills both in person and on the phone
Ability to gain knowledge of the products and customers within the industries we serve
Professional appearance and demeanor
Flexible and open to change
Results oriented
Able to work independently and communicate within a team environment
Detail oriented with analytical skills
In Office Position. 4.5 day regular work week. Ability to commute daily to local office is required
Able to work with minimal supervision

Preferred

Comparable experience or Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing or other related field
