Responsibilities
Provide technical and people leadership, including mentorship, career development, and coaching for 2 to 3 engineers.
Design and implement high-quality solutions across platforms with hard real-time constraints, easy to operate and maintain, and making the lives of product engineers easier.
Collaborate with other engineers and product teams to build revolutionary new products for clients.
Conduct regular one-on-one and performance reviews, and lead projects while creating a supportive and collaborative work environment for the team.

Required
7+ years of formal professional experience in Python and API development
1+ years performing as a team lead
Strong computer science fundamentals in design, data structures, algorithms and problem solving
Experience in using data science related python packages like pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, statsmode
Familiar with Jira, agile development process, and story mapping
Drive solutions with minimal supervision to deliver high-quality software on time
Ability to work independently or within a team
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience with React/Redux for front end development
Knowledge of AWS, Azure, MySQL, MongoDB, restful API, Docker, Cloud computing, Linux/Unix, JIRA, GitHub
Experience with R and Statistics/linear regression
