Responsibilities

Work on code design, implementation, and testing for Infinera’s next generation Line Card Modules.

Collaborate and contribute to new product development, working closely across multiple divisions and teams at Infinera.

Architect, develop, test, automate, and document software for ARM based embedded microservices platform.

Manage and enhance existing software platform.

Interact with multiple teams to build a common Platform for use across multiple family of products.

Required

3+ years of Software experience in Linux based IoT / Embedded platforms– from board and SoC, BMCs, bootloaders and firmware to OS, through apps and services.

BS and/or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

Great C++ and Python programming skills.

Proven ability to influence cross-functionally at senior levels, including SW, HW, Architecture, and Technical Support

Good communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to clearly communicate at several levels

You can work in a globally distributed team through self-discipline and self-motivation.

Some experience with Linux containers/Virtualization Technologies.

Preferred

Proficient with C++, Python, Linux including kernel

Experience with Embedded and Distributed Systems.
