Responsibilities

Develop new and cost-effective manufacturing concepts.

Lead scrap reduction teams through lean methodologies.

Provide technical assistance, process development, and engineering support to the manufacturing floor.

Mentor extrusion technicians and engage maintenance personnel in problem-solving using systematic methods.

Support flawless launch of new product activities through participation in cross-functional team events.

Execute validation and qualification protocols for new products, equipment, and processes.

Document lessons learned and project statuses.

Generate, update, and implement process documentation.

Close assigned CAPA's in a timely manner.

Complete projects and report statuses promptly.

Understand and follow SOP's and work instructions.

Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

Perform other required duties as needed.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Biomedical engineering, or related technical field.

Experience in the medical device manufacturing and process improvement, including root cause analysis.

Thermoplastics extrusion, molding and/or assembly process is strongly preferred.

Six Sigma Green or Black Belt and Lean Manufacturing is strongly preferred.

Ability to positively communicate and work in a team environment and contribute to group goals.

Comprehend college algebra, college physics, basic chemistry, statistics, and unit conversions.
