Responsibilities
Geographical operation expansion – building expansion design and project management.
Commercial support – developing new processes and products, nurturing existing leads, and supporting the commercial side of the business.
New acquisition support and integration – supporting business leadership in selection and integration of new business acquisitions.
Large, globally focused projects and initiatives – leading global projects and identifying capital needs for best-in-class technology and processing.
ERP or software systems support – providing a problem-solving perspective to various software platform selection, integration, and development.
Business systems simplification – identifying, simplifying, and unifying process bottlenecks within the global engineering and site teams.
Process improvement projects - leading cradle-to-grave process improvement projects on production lines.
Manufacturing engineering support - writing work instructions, standard operating procedures, calibration methods, and preventative maintenance instructions for production equipment.
Validation authoring and execution - writing protocols and reports to validate new equipment or equipment upgrades at ISO 13485 level.
Cost savings projects - identifying waste, minimizing it, and improving productivity in operations.
Manufacturing specification review - ensuring products built for manufacturing are properly structured for optimum efficiency.
Other projects not defined above that improve Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Growth, and Morale (SQCDGM) globally and at each site.
Qualification

Required
B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering or closely related field
7 years minimum experience in closely related function
Strong technical and mechanical skills including pneumatics, electrical controls, PLC programming
Project Management experience
Experience with electronic and information systems including network communications, vision systems, and other data collection systems
Skilled in data analysis including manufacturing statistical concepts
Solid Microsoft Office skills and experience in enterprise applications
Preferred
MBA or other related master’s degree
10 years minimum experience in closely related function
2D and 3D CAD experience desired (AutoCAD 2D and Solidworks 3D)
Knowledge and experience in cGMP; knowledge of QSRs, and ISO 13485
