Responsibilities

Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain systems while isolating and resolving problems involving applications, operating systems, hardware, communications, or infrastructure.

Provide systems and account administration consistent with system requirements to support remote system services.

Support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.

Install and load operating systems and application software.

Troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components while implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Support shift work.

Identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help customers meet their needs.

Required

Experience implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining systems while isolating and resolving problems involving the applications, operating systems, hardware, communications, or infrastructure

Experience with hand-off of problem reports to appropriate client leadership

Experience providing systems and account administration consistent with system requirements to support remote system services

Experience providing support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers

Experience installing and loading operating systems and application software

Experience with troubleshooting, maintaining integrity, and configuring network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance

Ability to support shift work

Top Secret clearance

HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience in IT, Associate's degree and 5+ years of experience in IT, or Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in IT

Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire
