Senior Fund Accountant
StreetID is seeking an experienced Investran Subject Matter Expert to lead the design, implementation, upgrade, and optimization of their private equity accounting and reporting platform. The role involves managing Investran implementations, acting as a liaison between business and technology teams, and ensuring the integrity of data across various processes.
Responsibilities
Lead and support full lifecycle Investran implementations, upgrades, and system enhancements, ensuring seamless adoption and minimal business disruption
Act as the primary liaison between business users, technology teams, and external vendors to translate private equity operational and accounting requirements into technical solutions
Manage system configuration, workflows, and process optimization within Investran to support fund accounting, investor reporting, capital calls/distributions, and performance analytics
Oversee data migration, reconciliation, and validation processes during upgrades and implementations to maintain data integrity across portfolios, investors, and transactions
Develop, customize, and optimize Investran reports and dashboards for portfolio monitoring, regulatory reporting, and client communications
Partner with cross-functional teams (fund accounting, investor relations, operations, and IT) to improve business processes and leverage Investran’s capabilities
Train and mentor end users on Investran functionality and best practices while creating documentation and knowledge libraries for ongoing support
Stay current with industry trends, new Investran releases, and private equity technology solutions to drive continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
7+ years of hands-on experience working with Investran in a private equity or alternative investments environment
Proven track record in Investran implementations, upgrades, integrations, and customizations
Strong knowledge of private equity fund structures, accounting, investor reporting, and performance analytics
Proficiency with SQL, reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Tableau, Power BI), and data integration solutions
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively across business and technology teams
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into effective technology solutions
Preferred
Experience with other private equity platforms (e.g., eFront, Allvue) or broader fund administration systems
Background in fund accounting or operations with a strong technology focus
