Responsibilities
Assisting in the engineering design of electro-mechanical systems, such as VFDs, motors, harmonic filters, and blower stages, as well as on-board electronic control systems comprising CPUs, PLCs, HMIs, and various instruments. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to ensure professional and organized structuring of designs, thorough documentation, and adherence to revision control procedures.
Collaborating with various stakeholders, including project management, purchasing, production, and customer support teams, by providing technical knowledge, expertise, and documentation related to Aerzen blower and compressor equipment and control systems.
Participating in project and product engineering activities, which will involve interacting with both internal and external customers.
Supporting strategic personnel, product, and business development efforts, including research and development initiatives.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET/EAC Accredited Program Field of study: Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent engineering degree
0-2 years of relevant work experience in or adjacent to the field of electrical engineering
Strong knowledge on electric circuit theory, electric machinery, and power electronics
Electrical and control system hardware design for machinery applications
Control circuit design and implementation
Industrial control panel design – Component sizing and selection
Electric codes and machinery safety – NEC, UL 508A, NEMA ICS
AC motor drive with different methods – VFD, RVSS, Wye-Delta Starting
Power quality analysis and harmonic mitigation
PLC and HMI/OIT configuration and programming (Allen-Bradley)
VFD configuration and programming (Danfoss, Allen-Bradley, WEG)
Industrial communication protocols (Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP)
Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D CAD (Inventor or SolidWorks)
Design for manufacturability (DFM)
New product introduction (NPI)
Engineering product management and standardization
Engineering project management
