Responsibilities
Identify opportunities for value, quality, and sustaining engineering projects.
Manage approved projects including scoping, cost/benefit analyses, and project prioritization.
Contribute to technical aspects of programs/projects and drive progress via project management.
Support product planners with component phase-in/phase-out for smooth production transition.
Manage personnel and material resources for QVS projects.
Perform technical tasks as needed for QVS projects.
Coordinate with internal Compliance, Regulatory, and Clinical teams to ensure revised designs meet standards.

Required
BS in a technical discipline (Electrical Engineering preferred) from an ABET accredited institution
Minimum 5 years experience in product development including design and test
Minimum 3 years experience in managing cross functional teams’ product development programs
Six sigma certification is preferred
Certified PMP is preferred
Industry exposure to international contract manufacturing
Global project management
Must be a strategic thinking, quality driven individual, who will provide leadership, direction, coordination and coaching for project managers and project teams during their day to day management and implementation of value engineering projects
Must be detailed oriented and willing to dive into the details of a project to flush out issues and risks, while simultaneously possessing the ability to see the bigger picture and understand the interdependencies of the overall program
Must have excellent leadership skills and must be able to work with a diverse project team consisting of resources from all parts of the organization (both R&D and supply chain)
Must be able to multi-task effectively
Ability to establish and follow corporate and regulatory standards
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to travel internationally (infrequently)
Ability to lift 25 pounds, with or without accommodations
