Responsibilities
Lead, build, develop a Data Engineering and Analytics team responsible for warehousing data, integrating new data sources, and delivering value by publishing insightful information and analytics to support Breezeline’s leadership and operations.
Oversee and advance the creation of an enterprise Data Dictionary to solidify and document customer BI calculations and metrics and fulfill all Data Steward responsibilities.
Identify and supervise best practice techniques in our Data Team’s usage of our development, pre-production, and production platforms and tools, including Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, Tableau, Apps Script, Jira, Bitbucket, Google Workspace,
Professionalize the Team’s testing, deployment, and support practices with knowledge of CI/CD and SRE best practices.
Partner with Corporate Cybersecurity to ensure applications, processes, and resources are securely built, deployed, and maintained.
Collaborate with internal auditors to ensure compliance with all Data Governance policies and procedures and instill practices to mitigate any data breach risks.
Assume all budget responsibilities for Data and Analytics and ensure that CAPEX/OPEX is spent in an efficient manner.
Mentor, guide, and develop the team with professional development plans to ensure they have the technical, functional, and core competencies to deliver optimal results.
Foster a highly engaged workplace by ensuring a culture of collaboration, adaptability, resilience, mutual respect, and fun.
Work closely with the PMO team to provide technical project management guidance and orchestrate the Data Team’s efforts to fulfill project deliverables.
Serve as Product Owner of Scrum team, meet with internal requesters to collect requirements, translate requirements into optimal solutions, submit Jira requests, oversee the Team through Epics and Sprints to implement value-added deliverables.

Required
Bachelor's degree
4+ years’ leadership experience in Data Warehousing, Data Management, or Data Analytics role with a track record of leading and developing talent and extracting value out of data
Proficient in Google Workspace, Atlassian Jira, technical writing for documenting processing and visualizing design solutions
Understanding of advanced SQL, Python, Linux, Apps Script, Google Workspace
Demonstrated knowledge of security concepts and best practices required
Attention to detail and accuracy required
Able to shift quickly between demands and understand the importance of business priorities
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where learning and growth are promoted
Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment
Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders
Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes
Ability to travel unassisted via air and/or vehicles with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to remain adaptable, agile and resilient in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Cable/MSO experience a plus as well as advanced business acumen
Knowledge of Machine Learning, AI, predictive analytics is a plus
