Responsibilities

Application of Knowledge of Process Systems to meet project requirements and regulations

Design development including Block Flow Diagrams, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, and construction drawings

Construction support through inspections, bid analysis, and field problem solutions

Project management tasks such as coordination, planning, and profitability analysis

Professional development participation and leadership in the discipline

Required

Typical minimum of a 4-year engineering degree (chemical, industrial, or mechanical preferred)

Minimum of 10 years of process design and application engineering experience

Experience with dry/wet milling, oilseed processing/extraction, bioreactors, pet-food manufacturing, animal nutrition manufacturing, and/or cocoa seed processing experience are preferred.

Ability to understand and execute the company vision and values of Team, Excellence, Service, and Trust

Practical experience in some of the following: thermal processing, commercial heat exchangers, fluid transfer (fittings, valves, pumps), evaporation, sterilization, CIP, SIP, and systems automation/integration in both consumer and bulk food processing

Knowledge of vendor qualification, procurement, and administrative practices

General knowledge of AE&C practices, coordination, and execution

Negotiation and relationship development skills with clients

Strong verbal and written communication skills
