Responsibilities
Operate with a proactive communication style to all cross-functional groups and individuals within Altium.
Execute strategies and projects to enhance safety culture and reduce risks.
Serve as a subject matter expert in Material Handling Systems, Conveyor Systems, or Quality Control/Decoration Systems.
Support project managers in developing design requirements.
Develop RFQ proposals, bid analysis, and vendor selection processes.
Collaborate with the Procurement team for bid requests and final purchase specifications.
Develop utility and equipment specifications for projects.
Provide technical expertise to plant and corporate personnel.
Design facility and production systems with a focus on personnel safety.
Evaluate the condition and performance of existing plant equipment and facilities.
Lead and participate in project and improvement teams.
Drive the implementation of new technology and systems.
Demonstrate full adoption of Altium's Guiding Principles in daily activities and decision-making.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years project management and/or project engineering
Experience working in a manufacturing plant environment
Ability to travel between 20-50% monthly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated experience in team building skills
Innate ability to develop willing followers and lead others by influence
Demonstrated proficiency in use of Microsoft Project/Smartsheet scheduling software
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office programs and AutoCAD use
Preferred
Engineering experience in plastics manufacturing (blow molding)
