Responsibilities
An ambassador of UI/UX Design towards the BU’s and the organization in general
The first interface to global UI Design community, the Business units and the Design department
Are a UI/UX Project Manager for all cross category projects
Foster exchange and transparency and synchronize global and regional demands
Contribute to the framework of the (global) UI Design architecture
Guide external agencies
Mentor and coach UI/UX Design
Partner with the Design team to define what consumer insights drive our vision
Pre-development in the area of digital brand experience
Monitor trends and consumer insights to identify market opportunities.
Analyze consumer behavior, conduct user research and translate consumer insights into UI/UX design proposals
Build and develop UI design system and UI design architecture within dedicated brand
Translate the brand vision, UI strategy and design elements into category related UI designs
Design Concepts for embedded UI’s with seamless digital experiences through cross category interfaces.
Support the development of a design system based on brand identity, user experience, and technology requirements
Steer the design process starting from general specifications (e.g. briefing of an agency, requirement specification marketing) up to the handover of the design specification to the realization project manager (in close coordination with development, production, portfolio/product management)
Advocate for accessibility and ease of use
Create scalable experiences and implementation of user centric strategies

Required
Bachelor’s degree (Interaction, multimedia design or similar area) – Required
5-7 Years of Experience (Lead Designer) in an agency or in-house – Required
Proven experience of shipped digital products from conceptualization to production ready software
Experience with embedded user interfaces or industrial design background
Comprehensive understanding and experience on how to manage a portfolio differentiation as well as a design system
Experience in leading diverse team and keeping up a collaborative dialogue with key stakeholders across the world
Strategic thinking, while being able to simplify for the organization/ stakeholders, Analytical skills, and sense for future trends
Consumer centric mindset
Extensive experience with agile working
Appreciation and integration of diverse perspectives
Highly motivated and curious
Team player and structured problem solver at heart
Focus on results as well as attention to the last detail
Passion in concept and visual design, which makes a product great and puts a smile on the users face
