Responsibilities

Developing models for customer facing marine specific applications

Working with data from sensors like cameras, stereovision, sonar, radar and more

Helping to identify and drive collection of appropriate training data for classification applications

Applying classical, generative, and physics informed AI to develop proofs of concept

Demonstrating excellent teaming skills and willingness to work closely with internal and external stakeholders

Machine LearningModerate Domestic Travel

Required

B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other engineering discipline with focus on Machine Learning

Strong working knowledge of a variety of A.I. and M.L. methods

Preferred

M.S. or Ph.D. with focus on Machine Learning

Experience developing and commercializing machine learning solutions

Position will be based out of the Brunswick i-Jet Lab in Research Park on the UIUC (University of Illinois – Urbana/Champaign) campus and will require moderate domestic travel
