Responsibilities

Write clean, well-designed, and testable code to support marketing campaign creation

Develop new features to automate existing marketing processes

Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning and QA

Build and maintain necessary infrastructure in AWS

Design schemas and tables for relational databases

Develop, maintain, and optimize MySQL queries

Integrate with 3rd party APIs

Communicate progress and blockers within an agile team

Ensure system health through automated tests and monitoring

Support continuous team improvements by evaluating alternative approaches to existing solutions

Required

Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field

5+ years of progressive engineering experience and at least 3+ years of Sr. Engineer experience

Advanced hands on back-end Java development experience

Experience with addressing intricate technical challenges through debugging and investigations

Ability to work with complex MySQL queries

Familiarity with AWS stack ( Lambda, ElasticBeanstalk etc. )

Experience working with streaming applications ( Kafka )

Ability to build and maintain deployment pipelines

Effective verbal communication skills

Preferred

Familiarity with Terraform is a plus
