Responsibilities
Responsible for compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
Plans and conducts small- to medium-size assigned projects within engineering specialty.
Coordinates and monitors project activities, reviews plans, and implements contingency plans when necessary.
Estimates and coordinates resources needed for assigned tasks.
Independently executes the design of products/processes/equipment/systems/facilities.
Improves methods/designs/processes and implements innovations.
Mentors others and resolves underlying problems.
Directs the efforts of technicians and outside resources.
Develops and executes validation protocols.

Required
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, science or closely related discipline
2+ years of significant engineering and/or operational experience
Demonstrated competency within a discipline
Working technical knowledge and application of concepts, practices, and procedures
Ability to work on problems of moderate scope
Interpersonal skills to negotiate and reconcile differences
Technical background in health care, medical devices, pharmaceutical, biologics, or similar industries
Preferred
Additional post-graduate education
Experience in health care, medical devices, pharmaceutical, biologics, or similar industries
