Responsibilities

Own the look & feel of the Pangea app & design frictionless and intuitive customer-focused experiences

Define the UX for new initiatives including elements of visual design to create consistent experiences across platforms

Deliver wireframes, site maps, user & process flows, prototypes, and design assets to product & engineering teams

Build & evolve the Pangea style guide for desktop and mobile applications

Optimize funnels and user flows to impact customer retention and activation

Implement best practices for design workflows and documents, scaling design standards

Required

5+ years of product design experience leading UX for mobile consumer applications demonstrating excellent interaction and visual design skills

Experience providing comprehensive UX documentation that takes the ambiguity out of the design experience for product managers and developers

Ability to deliver on short-term needs that fit into the long-term vision, including creating sketches and user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished, production-ready user interface and visual designs.

Rigorous educational and professional training on UX design practices, ready to independently institute new processes at Pangea vs. requiring external mentorship or guidance

You’re a self-starter with excellent time management skills and passion for working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
