Responsibilities
Act as a technical leader and mentor for team members
Identify cloud and infrastructure automation technology needs and provide solutions
Define, build, and operate PaaS and SaaS cloud capabilities
Implement and manage secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure environments
Advise on cloud vulnerabilities and threats, and resolve infrastructure issues
Manage projects and tasks with minimum oversight
Apply changes using configurations management and infrastructure-as-code-principles
Identify trends and drive out root causes of technical problems
Maintain on-call rotation and respond within defined SLAs
Coach team members in technical and professional aspects
Take accountability for project success and offer insights beyond development
Create and update technical standards documentation

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
5+ Years of experience deploying PaaS and SaaS based cloud services
3+ Years of experience in Terraform deployments. 2+ Years’ of technical experience in Cloud and infrastructure automation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of Agile practices within scrum and kanban frameworks
Experience building and supporting mission-critical infrastructure for critical applications
Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and routing
Advanced knowledge of secrets management (Azure Key Vault, Hashicorp Vault)
Advanced knowledge of container-based infrastructure running on Azure Kubernetes Service
Advanced knowledge of CI/CD tools and concepts – Azure Pipelines Jenkins, Artifactory
Advanced knowledge of infrastructure as code and DevOps processes
Advanced knowledge of version management, source control tools like Git and Bitbucket
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Strong technical background with system infrastructure and familiarity with automation tools and processes
Superior oral and written communication skills; able to communicate at all levels of the organization
Advanced experience supporting applications, operations, and security teams including the ability to provide ongoing architecture and implementation support
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, build and convey compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally to build consensus
Experience coaching team members in technical and professional aspects of their jobs
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
Willingness to work flexible hours and be available as needed
