Responsibilities

Independently design and engineer newly configured forms of automation equipment for various industries.
Create engineering CAD models and drawings for customized automation components.
Analyze project descriptions to verify feasibility and identify necessary configurations for new components.
Collaborate with colleagues worldwide on joint projects and design work.
Utilize tools like SolidWorks, Keytech, SAP, and Confluence for daily work.
Provide engineering and technical support services to other departments as needed.
Collaborate with the Engineering team for design review and quality goals.

Required

Bachelors Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent technical field
Previous experience in mechanical design and/or packaging industry preferred
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedures, engineering drawings, safety standards, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to communicate effectively with customers or associates of the organization
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Working knowledge of 3D modeling and 2D drafting, drawing databases, ERP software, and Microsoft Office products
Current valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a passport for travel as required by position
