Responsibilities

Work in sites to drive out cost through process improvements and documented standard work instructions.

Designs, redesigns, or enhances work areas and layouts with respect for ergonomics and waste elimination.

Maintains knowledge of best practices in manufacturing methods, and trends and developments in technology and equipment.

Works in conjunction with our Lean Team to improve process flow.

Develops and maintains management information, planning, and control systems.

Implements methods and modifications to reduce production costs.

Performs time studies to level load the manufacturing process.

Implements PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis) mindset and process for our operations.

Works across the organization to solve problems related to process outputs.

Develops, implements, and communicates best practices.

Familiar with problem-solving methods, such as DMAIC, A3, 5-Why etc.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Must be versed in problem-solving and constraint management.
