Responsibilities

Contribute to the design of new products and features, translating research insights and data into elegant user experiences

Work closely with engineers and product managers to ensure that designs are feasible and meet the needs of customers

Continuously conduct user research and usability testing to validate designs

Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and technologies, specifically with regard to AI

Contribute to the vision and design strategy, partner with product management and user research to inform deliverables, shape future roadmap discussions, and cultivate transparency

Craft interaction models, workflows, content models, screen designs, and visual details that help new customers realize the value of the Mailchimp platform

Collaborate with design peers and cross-functional teams to build concept consensus

Clearly articulate and present concepts to teammates and direct stakeholders

Maintain, guide, and push the boundaries of design systems and patterns

Required

Basic experience working in a CFX environment with product & engineers

Experience contributing to and helping facilitate research and translating insights into design solutions for consumer and/or commercial web & mobile application interfaces

Comfortable taking a first pass at writing copy with the support of Gen AI tools

Demonstrates a real passion for designing compelling user experiences

Solid intuition and clear demonstration of UX fundamentals, visual design expertise, and tools used in interaction design

Experience building interface prototypes and a portfolio of examples

Solid understanding and ability to prototype with tools like Figma

Preferred

Experience working on customer onboarding projects

Experience with systems and complex data
