Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement continuous improvement and process control procedures to achieve quality specifications for products and manufacturing processes.

Investigate and determine root causes of product nonconformance, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Direct employees in battery production, providing support for material quality and process reliability.

Develop training materials and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.

Compile and communicate relevant process data in a timely manner.

Audit and analyze process procedures to ensure compliance with specifications.

Apply critical thinking, problem-solving, and lean manufacturing principles.

Champion special quality improvement projects as assigned.

Collaborate with internal customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

Review product and process designs for compliance, safety, and customer concerns.

Utilize Six Sigma and Lean principles in daily tasks.

Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field and previous manufacturing experience required.

2+ years minimum experience

Previous Quality experience in ISO9001/IATF16949 environment.

Project management experience preferred.

Provides quality assurance support and updates production method work instructions and procedures.

Analyzes data to provide continuous improvements in products and processes.

Conducts audits and creates finding reports to determine corrective and preventative action.

Conducts root cause investigation and solution implementation for customer concerns following the 8D process.
