Responsibilities
Provide technical direction and support related to the enterprise network structure.
Collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze and validate the information needs and functional requirements.
Protecting the environment by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures.
Work with technology vendors to provide solutions that are effective for the enterprise.
Provide technical leadership for deployment and support teams.
Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.
Ensure stability in the production environment – before, during, and after system changes.
Develop and maintain effective cross functional working relationships with business and IT teams
Provide 3rd level support as needed.
Flexibility to work varied schedules, including occasionally outside of normal business hours.

Required
Strong understanding of Routing/Switching and wireless technologies
Experience in Network Segmentation
Some experience with Network Access Control (NAC)
Serve as subject matter expert for company initiatives that require guidance with network requirements
Enterprise level networking knowledge with multiple locations distributed throughout the country
Ability to build accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network systems
High Level of understanding and demonstrated ability in various network routing protocols
Configuring routing, switching and wireless to maximize network efficiency and security
Some firewall experience including design and implementation
Strong work ethic, proven self-starter, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, with strong verbal and written communication skills
Bachelors in IT networking, or other closely related engineering field or the equivalent amount of related work experience
3+ years as a Network Engineer with responsibility in LAN and wireless technologies
