Responsibilities

Serve as the WMS Functional lead on the IT team supporting Warehouse Management System business processes.

Explore requirements for the new WMS system to best support business processes and improvements.

Design and plan for the implementation, provide analysis, configuration, training, and testing of new application functionality.

Develop and maintain process documentation, perform process gap analysis, evaluate system capabilities, and lead systems implementation.

Own software implementation projects, facilitate integrations, develop user training plans, and support successful implementation and upgrades.

Participate in developing IT strategy roadmap and contribute as an Agile practitioner.

Required

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business information systems or related areas

5+ years’ experience implementing Manhattan or Made4Net WMS (SaaS) systems strongly preferred

Must have complete understanding of WMS system i.e., receiving, put away, storage, picking, packing, and shipping

Must have a solid business understanding of Inventory, Quality, Warehouse Execution System, Yard Management and Time Management System and Automations in a SaaS environment

Must be able to analyze existing warehouse processes to determine opportunities to implement new WMS system

Must have complete understanding of inbound, Inventory & outbound in a warehouse, DC & 3PLs

Must have a solid understanding of the interactions among WMS SaaS systems and ERP(Oracle) modules within an ERP environment

Strong understanding of supply chain principles with expertise in warehouse management

Must have the flexibility to lead projects or participate as a team member

Experience with Agile software development methodologies, creation of user stories, backlog grooming and strategy to determine

Expert in application support including problem analysis and resolution
