Responsibilities
Performs assigned aspects of the company’s safety and quality plans.
Coordinates with project QA/QC planning to ensure quality for assigned tasks.
Participates in estimating, change management, and quantity take-off processes.
Works on-site to monitor crew size, materials, and equipment.
Prepares and disseminates project documentation, posts drawings, and specifications.
Coordinates and inspects work, prepares reports, and supports project scheduling.
Oversees project closeout activities and ensures compliance with project requirements.
Builds relationships with project team members and tradespeople.
Implements Lean practices, best construction techniques, and self-perform opportunities.
Leads estimates, subcontractor selection, purchase orders, and project scheduling.
Manages project risks, subcontractor payments, and project closeout processes.
Provides training, mentorship, and collaborates within project teams.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field
3+ years construction experience
Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner
Communications skills, verbal and written
Proficiency in MS Office
Knowledge of organizational structure and available resources
Ability to apply fundamentals of the means and methods of construction management
Knowledge of project processes and how each supports the successful completion of a project
Ability to build relationships with team members that transcend a project
Proficiency in project management and accounting software
Proficiency in required construction technology
Knowledge of Lean process and philosophy
Knowledge of self-perform and labor productivity
Ability to assess and optimize project productivity
Knowledge of specific trades and scopes of work
Ability to maximize profitability
Ability to lead teams and achieve production goals
Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally
