Responsibilities

Serves as lead engineer and/or project manager on municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Leads the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, technical reports, and other project documents.

Prepares project work plan, scope, schedule, and budget, and communicates these to project team members.

Monitors/manages project production for compliance with schedule, budget, and quality objectives.

Identifies new business opportunities, coordinates and participates in project presentations to clients, and promotes AECOM’s capabilities.

Coordinates and participates in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors.

May supervise technical professionals, associate project managers, and design staff.

Assists with marketing needs within the region.

Participates in professional societies relevant to the industry.

Required

BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Professional Engineering (PE) license in Florida or ability to obtain reciprocity within six (6) months of hire

Preferred

Experience working on municipal projects

3+ years of Project Management Experience

Experience and familiarity with the following programs: ArcGIS, AutoCAD, REVIT, MicroStation, SWMM, and/or Storm/Sewer/WaterCAD

Experience working with local clients in Florida

Candidates must have proven interpersonal skills, including client interaction, public speaking, and persuasive ability; strong project financial management along with ability to lead diverse, multi-disciplined teams
