Responsibilities

Evaluates technical requirements of new and existing products.

Works with New Product Development teams to ensure clarity of engineering drawing requirements.

Participates in New Product Introduction teams to involve suppliers in the development of specifications.

Leads the Supplier Selection Process to develop a competitive advantage in quality, value, delivery, and technology.

Leads supplier technical audits, evaluates supplier performance, and drives continuous improvement.

Leads quality problem resolutions, drives root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Assists in cost planning by monitoring key cost drivers and supply markets.

Demonstrates broad knowledge of ceramic materials science, fabrication technology, material analysis, failure analysis, design for manufacturing, and quality management systems.

Interprets internal/external business challenges, leads functional teams or projects, and solves complex problems.

Communicates difficult concepts, negotiates with others, and impacts the achievement of objectives.

Required

Bachelor's Degree

7 - 10 Years of Experience

Demonstrates broad and comprehensive understandings and experiences of ceramic materials science

Extensive knowledge and experience in applying sound practices for design for fabrication and manufacturing of ceramic materials components

Quality Management Systems & Systematic Quality Performance Improvement

Global supply chain management practices with focus on supplier audits, selection, on-boarding & supplier development
