Responsibilities

Run a team that maintains and extends a large platform including web and mobile applications, API services, and back-end services.

Work closely with product managers to prioritize stories and ensure on-time delivery.

Manage developers and QA engineers, providing support for their career growth.

Collaborate with engineering management group to plan future strategies and resource needs.

Review code, assist in testing, and ensure platform uptime guarantees.

Cultivate a high-performing engineering team culture and provide architectural vision.

Provide communication to product owners and work in an agile environment.

Coordinate with other engineering teams and support functions for project delivery.

Provide strategic direction, remove roadblocks, and review metrics for team success.

Attend Engineering Management team stand-ups and sync up on larger initiatives.

Own and control team resources and deliverables.

Required

Extensive experience working in a team environment, ideally distributed

Logical working style with a keen attention to detail

Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills

Comfortable communicating with remote individuals and offices and working in a team environment
