Responsibilities

Define product and interface specifications for GPS receiver hardware, software, and mechanical subsystems.

Work closely with customers to support integration and use of receivers, generate data for proposals, and align product specifications with requirements.

Manage allocation of hardware, software, performance, and environmental requirements, and ensure verification strategy meets standards.

Collaborate with certification, CM, and QA leads to ensure product meets design assurance and certification standards.

Lead system-level perspective of embedded circuit board product development.

Required

BS (MS preferred) in EE, CS, or equivalent

7+ years experience in systems engineering following certification strategies

Expertise with embedded system engineering (complex embedded software on multiple circuit card assemblies)

System spec and interface control spec management

Requirements management, decomposition, flow down, and tracing from customer requirements, to sub-system requirements, to detailed requirements, to verification

Requirements-based verification and qualification

Project and schedule management

System-level perspective of an embedded circuit board product, with command of electronic hardware, RF, software, and interface design and development processes

Demonstrated excellence in customer interactions to establish confidence and rapport, clarify and align requirements expectations, prepare and present design review material, and support customer integrations

Demonstrated CM and QA discipline managing requirements-based development processes leading to product certification

Collaborative, team-oriented contributor with demonstrated ability to think outside the box and enable teams to achieve goals and deliver results efficiently

Must demonstrate strong communication, organization, planning, and documentation skills

Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance is required. Applicants must clearly indicate any previous DoD security clearance activity

Due to DoD Security Clearance requirement, US citizenship is also required
