Responsibilities
Monitor cost, prepare cost reports, forecasts, and budgets in accordance with established company and project policies and procedures.
Effectively coordinate and communicate with the project team, and liaison with departments to maximize efficiencies and effectiveness for overall project business operations. Facilitate the coordination between Business Operations and Project Controls.
Provide functional advice and support to managers in the organization for development, implementation, and maintenance of field job cost processes.
Train/review project procedures and processes during job start-up cycle, to ensure that projects run efficiently.
Provide job cost system technical support and training for new and existing employees.
Review/approve budget & contract change orders, as required prior to entry into cost system to ensure accuracy.
Audit project quantities.
Manage job cost accounting functions.
Prepares and presents monthly financial reports to upper management concerning cost and forecasts.
Other related duties as assigned.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in heavy civil construction
Expert understanding of the application of project controls in the construction environment
Ability to provide guidance and development for all stakeholders of the business and project controls functions
Ability to manage multiple priorities with a close attention to detail
Exceptional problem-solving skills with consistent follow through
Demonstrated MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) skills
