Responsibilities
Build product strategy and priorities for Azure Event Grid.
Work closely with external and internal customers to understand their requirements and translate them into high-quality specs.
Inspire and drive engineering and operational excellence across the organization.
Work in a cross-functional and collaborative role spanning several teams such as product, UX design, engineering, marketing, sales, and support.
Partner with the marketing and business teams to identify target customers, value propositions, customer promises, and go-to-market strategies.

Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements is required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
Background in building features for developer-oriented cloud service
Experience in defining product roadmap, strategy and go-to-market plans for an enterprise-grade product
Technical aptitude with an understanding of developer-facing tools and services
Ability to define customer-focused scenarios, author functional specifications and work with partner teams to ensure that scenarios are delivered end-to-end
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and across disciplines as a contributor
Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or similar IT/engineering discipline, MBA
Experience creating quality customer-facing product documentation, tutorials, and usage examples
Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year
