Responsibilities
Lead a diverse global team of Managers, Project Managers, and software engineers / developers focused on enabling companies with open-source software.
Engage with a global team of Account managers to drive business.
Develop strategies to grow the Wind River Linux business with open-source technologies.
Develop and deliver new Linux services offerings to the market.
Engage with leaders at companies leveraging open-source solutions within their products.
Work with a global account team to develop proposals and ensure successful projects for Wind River and the Customer.
Motivate teams to deliver excellence to customers.
Enhance the global footprint of the Linux delivery team and continuously enhance their skills.
Drive business metrics to ensure profitability within the business group and Wind River.
Collaborate with engineering, product management, and partners to drive outcomes.

Required
At least 15+ years of experience working in a leadership role (Preferably, within the open-source community).
10+ years managing the entire product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life –Linux based products preferred.
Knowledge of the Linux universe in the Yocto and Debian distributions.
A history of success working with account managers to build strategies for a winning open-source business.
Proven experience working with customers.
Knowledge of Project Management principles for the successful delivery of solutions to customers.
Proficient in English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.
Strong leadership abilities, leading and working with a remote and diverse team.
Exceptional team leader with a proven ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong troubleshooting ability.
Self-motivated individual with a high sense of responsibility and integrity.
Experience in the open-source community.
Knowledge and experience in promoting, and selling solutions based on open-source technologies.
