Responsibilities
Provide expense and headcount support to the G&A and Commercial organizations
Collaborate with Accounting on month-end and quarter-end close processes
Prepare variance analysis of actuals to budget/forecast
Assist in managing day-to-day finance-related activities
Track new facility/building expense and cashflow vs forecast
Assist with Legal expense tracking including patent and litigation costs
Perform ad hoc analysis to support strategy discussions and decisions
Drive continuous improvement efforts and initiate enhancements
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements
Maintain robust repository of reports and analysis

Required
BS/BA degree in related discipline and five years of related experience
Prior FP&A experience is required
Experience with financial systems (Hyperion Planning/Essbase and SAP) is preferred
Experience in biotech / pharmaceuticals / healthcare preferred
Willingness to be hands-on and become involved in the details of the operations so that accuracy can be ensured in the information provided to our business partners
Results-driven and must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to build strong relationships with Finance and non-Finance business partners
Proactive leader exhibiting strong influencing capabilities with business partners and a willingness to maintain open and transparent communication across the organization
Strong analytical, strategic, problem solving and organizational skills
Strong grasp of fundamental finance principles
Advanced knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint
Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
Ability to build strong relationships across all levels within an organization
Team player with the ability to work independently, proactively, and effectively under pressure
Broad business acumen and sound business judgment
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities
Willingness to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, meeting deadlines in an accurate and timely manner
Requires excellent attention to detail while not losing sight of the big picture
