Responsibilities
Develop and implement an end-to-end data system for ingesting vehicle data.
Create tools and frameworks for engineers to access fleet-wide metrics and detailed data.
Build intuitive visualization tools and dashboards for data access.
Improve data pipelines for collecting, transforming, and persisting drone data.
Promote a metrics-focused approach in product development.
Utilize data and analytics to identify and mitigate risks for drone safety and reliability.
Provide data-driven visibility and insights for customers to manage fleets effectively.

Required
3+ years of experience in data engineering, especially in a robotics context.
Experience building and maintaining cloud-based data systems at scale, addressing challenges like schema migration, data quality, and data governance.
Demonstrated an ability to take a concept and systematically drive it through the software lifecycle: architecture, development, testing, and deployment, and monitoring
Knowledge of databases and data processing.
Ability to coordinate across different teams and maintain good relationships.
Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred
Proficiency in Python or C++, though not necessary.
