Responsibilities

Conduct research in emerging product capabilities to identify fraud in new product lines and work with product and engineering teams to launch features.

Devise techniques leveraging signals from ad interactions to produce robust automated fraud detection techniques.

Support experiments on prospects and new clients to demonstrate the value of emerging products.

Review other data scientists' work prior to launching new detection rules/algorithms.

Participate in team responsibilities such as 'sheriffing' process and 'tech-debt days'.

Contribute to growing DS toolsets by accelerating the team's ability to find fraud and automating tasks.

Required

Experience solving large-scale, data-intensive problems in production systems

Proficiency with Python and SQL and familiarity with related tools, libraries, and platforms (e.g. Jupyter, Pandas, NumPy etc.)

Good sense of ownership and drive to find ways to do things better, faster, and leaner

Accountability for the quality and accuracy of work

Experience working on cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders

Preferred

Previous background in AdTech strongly preferred

Base pay range for the position is $130,000 - $150,000 with additional on-target commission pay/bonus

Stock options and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package
