Responsibilities
Manage sales through Distribution channel (relationship management, conducting business reviews, forecasting and tracking sales volume and prices, supply reliability, ensuring timely payments)
Primary interface for new opportunities and requests from Distributors for volume-price support (opportunity assessment, competitive intelligence, response to RFQs)
Resolving customer issues by acting as primary interface between the customer and internal resources (logistics, customer service, technical and finance)
Providing market intelligence to the business (industry trends, competitive behavior, new applications)
Other duties as assigned

Required
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
External sales experience in the chemical or industrial mineral industries (3 yrs minimum)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite and experience in working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
Travel as needed to achieve account objectives
