Responsibilities

Build relationships with and educate cross-functional product teams on methods for conducting rigorous research with end-users.

Manage research projects with minimal supervision and rigorously weigh the merits of various research methods for a given problem.

Conduct mixed-methods user research and testing of both concept-stage and in-progress design work, as well as work with other departments to formulate research plans.

Transform amorphous requests for research into rigorous project plans.

Recognize, deeply understand, and analyze user experience issues without introducing bias.

Engage internal and external research participants through recruitment, screening, study moderation, and compensation.

Facilitate both live and asynchronous research sessions.

Generate and reliably analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to produce insights for your product teams.

Construct surveys, usability test scripts, interview questions, card sorts, tree tests, and other research artifacts.

Develop effective research presentations and reports to communicate results and recommendations.

Collaborate with the rest of the UX Research team on additional research initiatives as needed.

Required

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in UX Research or an equivalent amount of experience in a similar role dealing with human insights preferred.

Strong collaboration, verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills.

Self-starter with the ability to create structure in an ambiguous environment

Familiar with UX Design best practices and principles.
