Responsibilities

Prosecuting offenders committing the above-mentioned offenses

Managing complex investigations by providing legal advice and direction to our law enforcement partners

Drafting various legal process, including wiretaps, CSOs, GPS warrants, and other documents

All phases of litigation except appeals

Qualification

State barCriminal investigation experiencePenal LawsNYPD proceduresFinancial transactions knowledge

Required

J.D. degree

Active member of the New York State bar in good standing

Experience in handling all aspects of a criminal investigation and prosecution

Excellent Writing Skills And Experience Drafting Search Warrants

Grand jury and felony trial experience

Extensive knowledge of New York Penal and Criminal Procedure Laws

Ability to devise creative solutions to investigatory and legal issues

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

United States citizenship

New York State residency

Preferred

Familiarity with all aspects of New York Police Department and law enforcement practice and procedures

Experience with handling referrals from NYPD/IAB and NYC Department of Investigation

Knowledge of the New York Rules of Professional Conduct for Attorneys

Basic understanding of financial transactions, social media platforms, and the internet
