Responsibilities
Build and develop an innovative program of research
Obtain external funding
Represent the Department and the University at professional meetings locally, nationally, and internationally
Publish seminal research findings in refereed, high impact journals, and book chapters
Collaborate with other faculty to obtain research funding for multi-disciplinary research
Assist in the development of strategic partnerships with departments, centers, and institutes at the University
Qualification
Required
PhD degree from an accredited university
Effective oral and written communication skills including significant publication record in peer-reviewed publications
Demonstrated ability to lead innovative research projects to successful conclusions
Evidence of being able to secure and sustain extramural funding
