Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of software applications using the .NET framework, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding standards and software quality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define system specifications, and integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of system resources, including enhancing database queries and implementing caching mechanisms.

Mentor junior software engineers, provide guidance and feedback, and promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology trends and advancements.

Required

C#, ASP.NET MVC and WebAPI

Solid experience with SQL Server, including hand-written queries, and relational database design

Demonstrated ability to refactor, modernize, and overhaul legacy codebases into manageable, efficient, and scalable systems, potentially transitioning to newer technologies where appropriate

Knowledge of RESTful services

Experience with data pipeline engineering, database design, web platform development, API design, or distributed systems

Web development using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery, with at least some experience writing JavaScript without a single-page application framework such as Angular, React, or Ember

Must provide evidence demonstrating proficiency in at least one of the following areas:

Performance optimization of .NET applications, underscored by a comprehensive understanding of the .NET framework internals.

Expert-level knowledge and experience with SQL Server performance tuning.

Advanced expertise in a specific domain or technology that could contribute significantly to InformData's background-investigation business operations.

Substantial user-experience expertise beyond web design and client-side programming
