Responsibilities

Work within an agile team to design and build enterprise applications that deliver value to customers.

Assist in the architecture, design, development, and deployment of a state-of-the-art infrastructure and network monitoring and visualization tool suite.

Develop innovative visibility and troubleshooting apps based on knowledge of network protocols and systems behavior.

Collaborate with a highly experienced team of senior engineers.

Required

B.S. degree (M.S. degree preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

3 - 6 years of Java development experience (C++ may be considered in lieu of Java).

Hands-on skills in object-oriented programming.

Experience with a formal object-oriented design methodology.

Broad-based communications network background or an overall enthusiasm for the field.

Preferred

Bonus points for knowledge of networking concepts (routing, switching, etc.), communications protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, etc.), and routing protocols.

Ideally have familiarity with JDBC, ORM, and Spring/Spring Boot Framework.

Bonus points for experience with Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Redis.

Exposure to Microservices architecture with Restful APIs along with Docker and container orchestration.
