Responsibilities

Provide process engineering support, guidance, and instruction to support manufacturing in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability

Work closely with technicians to investigate technical issues and work with senior engineers to develop root cause solutions and implement corrective actions

Be responsible for generating run files and run sheets. Provide process documentation and operating instructions

Understand and operate metrology equipment used for characterizing thin films, including spectrophotometry and interferometry

Collaborate with the sales team and customers on new products and programs

Support the material review board process for the disposition of discrepant material and assist in the determination of root cause and corrective action

Required

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science discipline required.

Ability to understand, analyze, and resolve complex technical problems

Demonstrated ability in applying SPC, Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing skills in problem solving, statistics, manufacturing quality, and quality principles

Eligibility to obtain a security clearance

US citizenship, US National, lawful permanent resident of the US, Person Admitted into the US as an Asylee or Refugee, National of a country not prohibited from having access to US controlled technology, or Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency
