Responsibilities

Develop and execute programmatic strategies to support student learning that align with AI4ALL’s overall program strategy
Develop and manage the portfolio project and the student symposium roadmaps
Lead the redesign of AI4ALL’s alumni engagement strategy in collaboration with the VP of Programs & Operations
Develop and manage the budget related to the portfolio project and the student symposium
Lead the creation and refinement of program resources and operating procedures
Collaborate closely with other program team members to place students into career readiness programming
Collaborate with the VP of Programs & Operations and the Development Team to streamline volunteer engagement experiences and manage the volunteer mentor experience
Collaborate with the Curriculum and Instruction Manager on incorporating appropriate technical and soft skills content into programming
Collaborate with program team members to establish timelines for programming activities, including program launch dates, admissions deadlines, symposium dates, and training schedules
Develop and manage the program admissions process in collaboration with the Senior Manager of Partnerships & Recruitment and the Curriculum & Instruction Manager
Manage the application and selection process for AI4ALL’s programs and develop scalable approaches for reviewing applications
Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager of Partnerships & Recruitment on program admissions processes and finalizing program rosters
Recruit, train, and manage the student coordinators. Student coordinators are typically program alumni and are responsible for facilitating workshops, providing peer mentorship, and project managing student projects during the program
Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Partnerships & Recruitment on the Student Coordinator Ambassador Program
Support student coordinators in overcoming challenges related to the program
Provide mentorship to student coordinators
Conduct performance reviews of student coordinators
Communicate program updates, achievements, and challenges to internal and external stakeholders through reports, presentations, and other communication channels
Manage communication with Ignite Accelerator students and program alumni
Manage communication with program volunteers
Analyze program risks, evaluate outcomes, and produce program debrief reports in collaboration with the Senior Manager of Programs & Impact Evaluation for the programs team and other internal stakeholders
Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Programs & Impact Evaluation to track and analyze program metrics to continuously improve student impacts and outcomes

Required

A desire to increase diversity and inclusion in technology.
2+ years experience working with diverse student populations related to education and/or youth development programs.
A demonstrated understanding of university culture and motivations, and the opportunities and challenges associated with developing programs for undergraduate students.
Experience in program design, evaluation and metrics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in public speaking and presentation.
Superb interpersonal skills; aptitude to work collaboratively with internal as well as external stakeholders.
Project management and organizational skills; able to work on multiple projects concurrently, manage time efficiently, and maintain a detail-oriented approach to work
Flexible and adaptable; thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Successful working independently with minimum supervision as well as collaboratively.
Experience in Computer Science (CS), AI, Education and/or social justice non-profit organization, or related fields.

Preferred

Experience with project management software like Asana is a plus
Experience with Salesforce is a plus
Experience working with populations who have been historically excluded from the Tech and AI sector is a plus.
Undergraduate degree preferred, advanced degree is a plus
